Are you emailing your customers asking for them to review your business on Google?

Here’s how to create a link to the exact place your customers can write a review

Step 1: Do a search for your business name + City + St. on Google. Your business will appear on the right hand side of the page.

Step 2: Click where it says “…reviews”. THAT’s the link you want. Clicking will open up a pop-up box to write a review. Go up to the URL and copy the entire URL. It’s long and ugly but will send your customers to where they can just click once and start writing. They won’t have to look your business up and get lost. *Note – If you don’t have any reviews yet, scroll down to where it says “Write a review”.

Step 3: Make your link pretty. Here’s the link in the above example. It’s ugly.

In your email, turn a word in the message into a hyper-text link such as what I’m doing right NOW. If you still have questions, give us a call.

Now that you know the secret link, be sure to set a calendar reminder for yourself so you can make review requests each week. If I told you that each new Google review you got is worth over $500 would you believe me?
